Our Music Ministry

Music is a VERY important ministry in our church.  At LHUMC we love to SING the story of our salvation at every opportunity!  In addition to our monthly concerts, we have special music (soloists & guest performers) and two WONDERFUL choirs that participate in Sunday worship.   If you are a musician, please consider lending us your talents!

 

LHUMC Sanctuary Choir

Our group, also known as the adult choir (teens are welcome!), rehearses on Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 9:45am in the chapel and then participates in our 10am worship service. 

We have some exciting opportunities this choir season, including:

	A Christmas Concert at the Town Library (Dec 9, 2007 at 3:30 PM)
	A Christmas Concert during our Concert Series (Dec 15, 2007 7 PM)
	A Good Friday Cantata with full Orchestra (March 21, 2008 7:30 PM)

We are a friendly, fun group and all who love to sing praises are welcome to join us!

 

Youth Choir

A small but growing (in more ways that one!) music ministry that resumes this fall, the youth choir rehearses immediately following our 10am worship in the sanctuary (time is allotted to grab a cookie from our fellowship hall first, of course!).  The youth choir participates in worship on special holidays.  We've got some upbeat, fun music planned and all kids are welcome to join in the fun and fellowship!
